Do your childrens school let the children make fathers day cards?

ours havent done them for the last couple of years but always make mothers day cards

no and it really annoys me why should my kids get penalised just cos some kids dont have a dad!!the logical thing to do is let the kids with dads make their cards and the ones who dont could make cards for their uncle or grandads!!in my youngest boys class there are a few single mums but they all see their dads !whats the problem ??i would rather they didnt make either if its going to be like this (later) my other son was in a class with a girl whose mum died and she made a card for her aunty!!when my mum died i was in highschool and we were supposed to be making cushion covers for our mums and my teacher nearly died herself when she realised !!so she discreetly chose a couple of us to do something else to make it not so obvious,and it was ok but i was odd!!
Reply:same here I would love to have one that my son has made for me aswell. Wonder why they aren't letting them do it? I have heard that it is because they don't want to exclude the children that don't have a father, which I agree with but what about the children that don't have a mother? Strange isn't it?
