Isn't Mothers Day confusing for kid that has 2 lesbian mothers and no father like the other children?

Who gets the Mothersd Day Card?

Isn't Mothers Day confusing for kid that has 2 lesbian mothers and no father like the other children?
they both get one! duh!
Reply:Both, or none as Mother's day is largely the invention of the greeting card industry and wisely ignored by all intelligent children!
Reply:Two heads are better than one,

It’s double the pleasure, baby, triple the fun.

I said two heads are better than one,

It’ll make you come undone,

Two heads are better than one.
Reply:It's no more confusing than having to buy a card for your birth mom and your STEPMOM.

There isn't a problem.

The only issue comes from those trying to find objections toward homosexuality, the kids don't have those issues.
Reply:i don't think it is, i mean kids will understand, they are more open mind then most adults these days. mothers day is no issue to them. and i recall one family giving cards to both mothers, was in the papers. nothing confusing for the kids at all.
Reply:not only will that kid be confused, but he'll be broke by the end of may. two presents on the same day...that's gotta suck
Reply:BOth of them of course!

if i have two gay moms i'll buy two presents , and two cards
Reply:The kid just buys 2.

You need to give kids more credit than that.
Reply:no the child is just lucky enough to have 2 mothers instead of 1
Reply:I think that the kid should give them both cards. I mean wouldn't the other mom feel kind of bad?
Reply:I suppose that would depend on the individual arrangement.
Reply:i have two kids and a female partner (I am female) We just both got presents... simple as that! Nothing crazy or hard to figure out in that. Our son and daughter dont have fathers, one has a sperm donor, the other child was concieved through rape. So, fathers day is a non-event. Our son in 10 and never has any issues at fathers day. He gives his grandads a present. He has lots of friends with no dads around for all different reasons so it really doesnt affect him at all..

I dont think it is strange. There is no such thing as a traditional family anymore. People do it there on way....
Reply:no , it is not confusing...the child is used to have two mothers and that is all...i am afraid it is more confusing for you than for any child who has two lesbian mothers
Reply:That´s why it is "mothers" day. Otherwise it would be "mother" day wouldn´t it.
Reply:I guess but it depends what way the childs been brought up. If they've been shown they have 2 mothers then just get 2 gifts.
Reply:Why would they be confused? they have 2 mothers (or Mum %26amp; step-Mum in our case) they give 2 cards.
Reply:nah, i don't think so. if you grow up in that environment i think it becomes quite natural. to presume the equasion of mother vs father is like saying woman MUST be with man.... says who? ;)
Reply:could be, confusing.

for shoe lasts
