Should I make a mother's day card for my friend's deceased mother?

One of my friend's mother recently past away. Me and my friend are really close and I thought this year, I could make a mother's day card for her mom saying how proud she should be of her daughter. Would it be weird or bad if I did?

Should I make a mother's day card for my friend's deceased mother?
What I would do is mention to your friend if she's going to do anything special, for instance for her grave. If you don't know already, then you could bring it up that you want to leave something too, and if she wants you to leave it or if she'd like to have it instead.
Reply:I would send a Thinking of you card Instead of a Mothers day card.It is Very Thoughtful of you.
Reply:weird: HELL YES!!!

bad: possibly

i say: DON'T DO IT!!!!
Reply:No, that would be very ignorant.
Reply:Only if you want to hurt and offend her.
Reply:I wouldn't I lost my Mom and wouldn't one a card for her.
Reply:I would not recommend that. I see that you want to make a kind gesture in hope to bring some joy to your friend...but it may be better if it were in the form of a hug or just telling her that you think she would be proud. That will mean alot more I believe, because that is surely not going to offend.
